New TCO report on Circular IT Management in practice

TCO Development, the organisation behind the TCO Certified label for sustainable IT products, has recently published a new report on how buyers and users of IT products can implement more circular and sustainable practices.

The Report ‘Impact and Insights: Circular IT Management in Practice’ sets out how the circular economy helps solve many of the most pressing sustainability challenges linked to IT products. As well as setting out 33 hands-on tips for circular IT management, it also features an interview with City of Aalborg’s project manager Birgitte Krebs Schleeman, about how the city has began its journey to better, more circular IT management.

The importance of this topic is clear. As Brigitte explains: “the amount of CO2 we can save by keeping IT products longer surprised me. Using laptops for another three years will save emissions equivalent to heating and powering all municipality buildings for a year”.

For more information, you can find the full report here. An online seminar will also take place on 22nd of September, which you can register for here.

A recording from the first webinar can be found here.
